Jungle Queen; war chief

The above are two pictures of Dawna as, respectively, the war chief (ie, she painted her own belly and danced around) and the jungle queen. Ask any kid who grew up in this backyard: something happens when you go out there...you take on this alter-ego, wild child persona that makes you do crazy things like swim in the ditch or climb trees or try to use a shopping cart as a canoe (don't ask).
